I have Lisa's book on my desk, and now that I've read this post, I'm fired up to read it. I've thought (without really thinking) that "cruisers" who cruise domestically, probably weren't the same as those of us who went foreign. One can think some really nutsy things! Her observations about the lifestyle, about the kind of friendships we cruisers make, and, yes, also about the cycles of getting into and out of cruising phases ring very true to me. I'm even thinking that the Loop might be a good future destination. Who knows? Thanks, Lisa, for contributing!
